Handwork
There are many types of embroidery, tie-dye, ajrakh, shibori, applique work that are included in the hand-work clusters of Rajasthan. It is amazing to note that the women of remote villages, unexposed to modern civilization, are the experts in preparing articles of great aesthetic value. Hand embroidery is an expensive & time-consuming method. However, inspite of this it is preferred because of the intricacy of the handwork involved.
- In Rajashthan, we are working with 850 women artisans attached to 1 producer company.
- These womens are from Barmer, Pugal(Bikaner), Udaipur, Bidhani, Chohtan.
