Bamboo
One of the oldest crafts of India, Bamboo crafts, had been occupying a significant position as India produces a huge amount of bamboo and cane. Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on Earth and is a crucial element in the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The traditional use of Bamboos was to create household piece of furniture items for day to day use and in some cases weapons for self-defense. The products made out of bamboo exemplifies great aesthetic beauty and appeal.
